Keeping it Together: mental health and Christian ministry aims to resource anyone in church leadership to teach and explore those issues biblically in their churches, as well as encouraging people in Christian ministry to look after their own wellbeing.
It would be great if you could join us on the first live session of the new term on 18th September. If you feel you can commend us to others that would be wonderful.
November’s Live Session
Will be on November 20th from 12 midday to 13.15 as usual. Our guest that day will be Rachel Hudson who recently retired a vicar of a parish in north Northumberland. Rachel is a psychotherapist and counsellor and we are going to be discussing these two disciplines from a Christian perspective.
Retreat Day
This will be on Thursday 16th October at Shepherd’s Dene in Northumberland. This is a wonderful opportunity to take time to relax, reflect and re-orientate as we move into the colder, darker months. We [Rachel Broughton and Dave Burke] will be leading this. Our retreat days are funded by the Henry Smith Charity and are free to anyone involved in Christian ministry.
Follow this link to the retreat day page of this website and fill in the brief form to reserve a place on the retreat.

If you are from the south of England, why not come for a couple of nights (you would need to pay for your accommodation). Drive here or come by train to Riding Mill and we’ll pick you up from the station.
